Officina Futuro MAW Foundation and the City of Bologna, through the Office of Equal Opportunities, Protection of Differences and Fight against Gender Violence, renew their collaboration and also next school year are committed to bringing Girls Code It Better to some first and second grade secondary schools in Bologna.
The collaboration was born in the school year that just ended through a project presented on the “Regional Call aimed at supporting the equal presence of women in the economic life of the territory, encouraging access to work, career paths and the promotion of corporate welfare projects aimed at worklife balance and improving people's quality of life” which saw the creation of laboratories even in secondary schools.
Bologna has always been the protagonist of Girls Code it Better, it is an active territory capable of accepting challenges to transform them into growth experiences.
The initiative created 7 years ago to bring girls closer to technology through design, computer programming and digital manufacturing laboratories over the years has seen the participation of 3460 girls in 11 Italian regions.
The new Clubs will start in November 2020.
