CODE & TELL PREVIEW: GCIB's girls talk

Girls Code It Better, the project by Officina Futuro Fondazione MAW - recently awarded together with its creator Costanza Turrini as “Learning Hero” (learning hero) by Twinkl - organized the online event Code&Tell Preview - the girls from GCIB tell.

The initiative scheduled for Saturday, February 13 from 15 to 17:30 - will be an opportunity to discover the pink project of the MAW Foundation, which, through the organization of digital experimentation clubs dedicated to first and second grade secondary school students, aims to bring girls closer to STEM disciplines, to reduce gender disparities in the scientific field in perspective.

At GCIB, club girls have had the opportunity to test themselves with innovative projects (from app creation, to gaming to 3D printing) and to develop important soft skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, collaboration, learning to learn and effective communication.

Saturday 13 February girls from second grade and extra-school secondary school clubs will talk about their creative and discovery journey within Girls Code It Better and will talk about how they have faced the challenges proposed through the most innovative technologies.

The stories of the clubs will be introduced by the experiences of:

Costanza Turrini - GCIB Creator and Project Manager
Jessica Redeghieri - GCIB Coordinator and Content Creator
Marinella Levi - Founder of +Lab and professor at Politecnico Milano
Simona Maiorano - Independent developer
